Abstract:		 In February 2013 Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out an archaeological evaluation at Beeson's Yard, 72 Railway Street, Hertford. Despite potential for medieval and earlier remains, the two evaluation trenches revealed 20th century disturbance and layers representing a series of attempts to level the ground. One of the earliest of these layers contained finds dating to the 17th - 19th centuries.
