Abstract:		 In March and April 2013 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out archaeological monitoring and recording at land rear of Robin Hood PH, 63 High Street, Walkern, Hertfordshire. The monitoring was in compliance with a condition attached to planning permission for the construction of a single detached dwelling. The site lies within the historic core of the village of Walkern, but the monitoring revealed no archaeological features or finds with the exception of two modern drains.
