Abstract:		 Between July and October 2012 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried archaeological monitoring and recording at the Northern Maltings, 16 New Road, Ware, Hertfordshire, during conversion to residential use with the installation of 12 residential units. The site lies on periphery of the medieval town core. The Northern Maltings is one of a trio of maltings forming a complex erected in the early 19th century. The monitoring revealed only deposits of 19th century and later origin; natural was not reached.
