Abstract:		 Samples of ten oak timbers from Furness Abbey Park Cottage, near Barrow-in-Furness, were taken for tree-ring analysis. The ring sequence of one timber was dated to AD1355-1436. This timber was felled after circa 1450 but probably before 1495.
