Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Historic building recording was carried out prior to the infilling of cellars associated with the 1825 Plough coaching inn, Regent Arcade. Limited evidence for earlier fabric was recorded, although most of the cellars appear to be contemporary and of early 19th-centry date. Later alterations included removal of ceilings (including vaults), replacement of the floors, partitioning of rooms and the creation of new staircases. No archaeological features or deposits were exposed during the subsequent watching brief.
