Abstract:		 Three trenches were excavated to establish the survival of any archaeological deposits below modern foundations and car park/yard at 1 Ditton Walk, Cambridge, TL 473 595. No archaeological features were recorded due, almost certainly to a significant degree of 19th-century and modern truncation, and as a result of made ground due to terracing off Coldham's Brook and construction activity. A fourth smaller test pit was initially broken through concrete but halted at a depth of 0.4m on a second concrete slab.
