Abstract:		 A level 2 standing building survey was undertaken by CFA Archaeology on behalf of Carlisle College at Swift Mews, Strand Road, Carlisle (Fig. 1, centred on SD 4039 5609) in July 2013. The work was carried out in line with a Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) approved by Jeremy Parsons at CCCHES. The work was commissioned by Carlisle College prior to the demolition of large proportion of the building complex to make way for a new college campus.
