Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	The results of a series of archaeological evaluations, excavations and watching briefs undertaken during 1990-1994 in connection with the construction of the A417 Brockworth Bypass, Gloucestershire. The construction of the new road was preceded by extensive evaluation and then several small archaeological excavations, which were concentrated in the vicinity of the Hucclecote villa. The work resulted in the recording of complex enclosure systems around the Hucclecote villa and in the identification of a large barn-like structure and stone corn drier.
