Abstract:		 The early form of the hall house at Dearden Fold Farm, a grade II* listed building and a building-at-risk, is evident from the survival of three trusses, two associated with the hall range and one with a cross-wing. Dendrochronological analysis of oak timbers from these trusses is consistent with primary construction in AD 1488.
