Abstract: |
Four evaluation trenches were excavated to investigate areas of development impact. The most significant archaeological remains identified were located in the central and southwest areas of the site, and includes a Saxo-Norman boundary ditch which appears to have been reinstated during the Early Medieval period. Contemporary with the original ditch are the remains of a pond dating to between the 12th to 13th centuries AD. |
