Abstract:
The open area excavation identified a substantial Romano-British farmstead dating to the later 1st to 4th century AD. No evidence for late Iron Age or Saxon settlement was conclusively identified, although cultural material was recovered. . Further analysis of the datasets produced by the investigations is, therefore, proposed in order to assist in addressing local, regional and national research objectives relating to Romano-British settlement, economy, society and environment. This project is undergoing analysis and will be published, thus superseding the grey literature
