Abstract:		 Historic building recording was carried out during the demolition of the building. The core of the structure formed part of the 1837-8 Tiverton Union workhouse, with additional wings added in the 1890s. A full archaeological survey had been carried out in 2010. The few new observations mostly relate to former fireplaces within the central 1837-8 range.
