Abstract:		 A watching brief was undertaken during ground breaking works for temporary access roads, tower bases, drilling rig areas and crane pads at ZV231 and between ZV230 and ZV231; at ZV229; at ZV229A; and between ZV230A and ZV230B. Only the watching brief at ZV 230B uncovered archaeological remains and so further excavation was conducted within this area. Twenty pits were exposed measuring between 0.4-2.66m × 0.4- 2.28m and 0.1-0.5m deep and a single linear 011 was also identified. Three features, 025, 036 and 048, contained significant finds. The site is thought to be prehistoric, possible Neolithic in date.
