Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology East (OA East) carried out an archaeological evaluation at 19 Wallman's Lane, Swavesey, Cambridgeshire (TL 3626 6886). The proposed development is for a single residential property. A single 1m x 1m test pit was hand excavated to determine whether the proposed building would disturb in situ archaeology. Although Swavesey has a vast amount of predominately medieval archaeology, only post-medieval features were observed in the small area excavated and are most likely related to dwellings from the 19th-20th Century. |
