Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd was commissioned by Western Power Distribution Ltd to undertake a watching bried during the demolition and removal of the above ground remains of an electric substation and the excavation to find and disconnect the associated electric cables. Only a homogenus post-medieval/modern deposit was found during excavation and the demolition of the substation avoided any damage to the post-medieval stone wall that it was connected to. |
