Abstract:		 South West Archaeology Ltd. was commissioned to undertake desk-based study, historic building recording and archaeological monitoring and recording at the Barn at Sithney Water Cottage, Poldown, Sithney, Cornwall, ahead of the proposed conversion to full residential use. The desk-based study, historic building recording and archaeological monitoring and recording have revealed a cohesive narrative for the development of the site and the surviving building.
