Abstract:		 The Island at Tintagel was surveyed in 1984 by the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England but for various reasons the written account to accompany the plan was not completed. This report is the result of a project undertaken in 2015 to enhance the survey and provide that account and to update both in the light of research undertaken in the intervening three decades. The report describes approximately 200 features of archaeological interest and throws new light upon many of them, especially those relating to the post-Roman, 13th century and post-medieval phases of the site.
