Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 31.4 hectares of arable land. The survey has identified two anomalies in the west of the site that may relate to former enclosures or field boundaries, as well as a number of former field boundaries and a road. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of natural or modern origin relating to underground services, agricultural activity, land drains, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
