Abstract: |
Archaeological investigations took place during conversion of a derelict mill. The structure had its origins as an agricultural building and was converted into a mill during the 19th century. An earlier documented mill was located elsewhere on the site (and has been demolished following a fire). An additional storey was added and the building enlarged at the end of the 19th century. Limited evidence for the machinery within the mill survived. |
