Abstract: |
Border Archaeology was instructed by Ian Pick Associates on behalf of Mr Colin Phillips, Romers Farm, Bockleton, Tenbury Wells to undertake an archaeological desk-based assessment with regard to a proposed poultry unit on land to the SW of Sallings Farm Middle Common Bockleton Worcestershire. In view of the fact that there have been no archaeological interventions in the vicinity of the study area, it is impossible to determine with certainty what the depth of archaeological deposits and features might be. However, in view of the evidence suggesting that the study area lies within a field which has been extensively ploughed for a lengthy period, it is possible that any surviving features may have been disturbed, although the extent of such disturbance is difficult to quantify without further investigation. |
