Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological test pit and borehole survey, pipeline watching brief and ground-penetrating radar survey was undertaken on behalf of the King's School, Ely (NGR: TL 5397 8015). A total of 24 test pits, borehole and archaeological sections were excavated and recorded with several within the quadrangle of the current building configuration and adjacent to the garden wall of the Old Bishop's Palace revealing varying thicknesses of made ground overlying clays deposited in hollow, possibly a former quarry or ancient excavation on the site, possibly relating to building work associated with the Cathedral or associated nearby buildings.
