Abstract: |
A negative evaluation. Six 20x 1.60m trenches were excavated over a proposed site for eight dwellings with associated services and access roads. There was potential for Prehistoric to Medieval archaeology from sites (through crop marks) and finds scatters field walking) listed by Leicestershire Historic and Environment record. However only landscaping was found in the north-east of the site which is linked to the construction of the 18th century Ravenstone Hall and furrows to the south of the site. |
