Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken by Archaeological Services Durham University at Harlaxton Engineering Services works on Toll Bar Road, Marston, Lincolnshire in May 2016. Six trial trenches were excavated. A palaeochannel was identified in one trench, and furrows from a ridge and furrow plough system in two trenches. All trenches except one contained up to 0.5m of modern made ground. A residual sherd of Roman pot was collected, but no other finds were recovered. |
