Abstract: |
Trenching revealed that most of the geophysical anomalies were geological, as anticipated. Possible archaeological features (a gully, post holes and a quarry pit) were all undated: a single ditch contained one sherd of Bronze age pottery and a struck flint but it is not thought that the ditch is likely to be of that period. |
