Abstract:		 As part of a community led HLF project in 2012, two trenches, each 5m x 5m, were opened within the interior of Eaton Camp hillfort. Both were located to examine apparently substantial ditches discovered through geophysical survey.The excavation confirmed the presence of the ditches and dated them to the Early Iron Age.
