Abstract:		 Pre-Construct Archaeology (PCA) has been commissioned to undertake a programme of a trenched archaeological evaluation at the proposed development at Land at and adjacent to Mushroom Farm, High Road, Trimley St Martin, Suffolk TYN 126 (TM 2731 3744) prior to the proposed development of new school buildings and associated groundworks. This was in response to an archaeological brief issued by Dr Jess Tipper of the Conservation Team of Suffolk County Council's Archaeological Service (SCCAS/CT). 7.8 The trial trench evaluation has identified evidence for part of an agricultural field system probably related to the possibly prehistoric and Roman field systems identified from aerial photographs in the fields to the south.
