The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 March 2003 to August 2003. Oxford Archaeology carried out a programme of field evaluations at Hreod Parkway School, North Swindon, Wiltshire. The first evaluation phase consisted of 26 trenches split into two areas. There was no evidence for occupation at either site. The northern part of site 1 preserves the relict remains of medieval / post medieval landscaping in the form of ridge and furrow. The second evaluation phase consisted of 5 trenches targeting anomalies identified by a geophysical survey also carried out during this phase of work. The second phase evaluation revealed significant archaeological remains in one trench suggesting localised Iron Age activity in the form of post holes.
