Abstract:		 In November 2013 an archaeological watching brief was carried out at a site to the rear of the Grade II Listed No. 10 High Street, Market Lavington. The land was former gardens which were being redeveloped for residential accommodation. Groundworks were monitored, no archaeological deposits or features were present. The former garden land had been significantly disturbed in the 20th Century, possibly during construction of an adjoining Housing development to the south of the site, known as The Clays.
