Abstract: |
Five evaluation trenches were excavated. Archaeological features which probably date to the medieval period were identified in trench three. These comprised a partially preserved oven and a gully. It was possible that these features were associated with salt making. A trench located close to the street frontage contained floor surfaces associated with post-medieval cottages. [Au(abr)] |
