Abstract:		 A total of 18 test pits were machine and hand excavated at locations within the redevelopment footprint. A wall recorded in test pit 14 appeared to be a remnant of a formal post-medieval garden associated with Howard House. Test pits within the basement of Howard House and further pits in proximity to Dragon Hall confirmed that significant archaeological deposits were present at these locations. [Au(adp)]
