Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on the excavation of a cable trench and three lamp post holes. Existing services had truncated much of any archaeological remains, however the footings of two walls were identified and thought to represent the foundations of Bishop Wakering's cloister, built in the 15th and demolished in the 19th century.
