Abstract: |
<summary>A five-day excavation was carried out at Ferry House, Dagenham, as the site lay within an archaeological priority zone known to be an area of Saxon settlement. No Saxon remains were encountered during the excavation, but seven phases dating from medieval times to the present day were recorded. Medieval finds included sherds of French pottery. The site was waterlogged below a depth of 1.2 metres. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLSMR062076 - 062081 |
