Abstract:
During groundwork relating to the construction of an ornamental lake, two superimposed north-south oriented ditches, a gully and a post hole were recorded. A flint end scraper was recovered from the fill of the earliest ditch. It was suggested that this was a residual artefact, and the ditches were in fact of a post-medieval date. [Au(adp)]
