Abstract: |
An archaeological strip and record excavation was carried out during the groundwork for the construction of a new stable on land at Middle End Barn, Leckhampstead. The excavations revealed a small pit and a pond. Finds recovered included pottery and part of a pewter candle holder which were probably early post-medieval in date. [Au(adp)] |
