Abstract:
A fieldwalking survey was undertaken on an area of a proposed quarry. A light scatter of pottery, dated from the prehistoric to medieval period was identified in the northern area of the site, with two areas of concentration. A general scatter of 18th century finds was identified across the site. Evidence of iron production was encountered across the site, with three concentrations of slag encountered. [Au(abr)]
