Abstract: |
Assessment comprising documentary research, fieldwalking and geophysical survey was undertaken on the site of a proposed golf course. A scatter of Roman pottery discovered during fieldwalking was shown by geophysical survey to be situated in an area which comprised a series linear anomalies, probably ditches. Two areas of intensive magnetic anomalies were interpreted as possible kiln sites. [AIP] |
