Abstract: |
Remains of limestone building rubble associated with a Roman building had been previously found on the proposed development site. Desk-based assessment also located the remains of a post-medieval quarry and supplementary geophyiscal and fieldwalking surveys in advance of fuller evaluation identifed settlement evidence comprising sub-rectangular enclosures and associated droveway and recovered fragments of Romano-British pottery.
