Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undetaken during the development of land adjacent to The Drove. No significant archaeological remains were revealed due to the fact that much of the development site had been significantly truncated and subsequntly infilled in the post-medieval/modern periods. Pottery recovered during the brief suggested late medieval - early modern occupation on or near the site, though the nature of the occupation had not been determined. [Au(abr)]
