Abstract: |
A single trench was excavated to establish the archaeological potential of the site. The features and deposits uncovered were interpreted as the remains of a yard / road surface and a possible terrace sealed by a 4th century dump deposit. A fragment of a Roman jet bracelet and a large quantity of pottery and animal bone were recovered from the dumped deposit. Three residual worked flints were incorporated into the Roman yard / road surface. [Au (adp)] |
