Abstract:		 The watching brief identified late 19th century masonry possibly relating to the ornamental gardens. Other possible late 19th century features included masonry that possibly related to residential structures. Other trial pits revealed a series of made ground layers over gravels and clays suggesting the site had been severely truncated, possibly by quarrying. [Au(abr)]
