Trench 12 contained Boyn Hill gravel. Trenches 5 and 6 contained probable tree throws. Trench 11 contained a probable ditch of unknown date. Trenches 1,7,8,9 all contained late 19th century to early 20th century field drains. Trench 11 contained a large 20th century pit and trenches 1.5. 7 and 8 contained 20th century make-up layers and surfaces. [Au(abr)]
