Abstract:
Twelve trial trenches and ten test pits were excavated. Archaeological features were present in Trenches 4,6, 12, 13 and Test pit 22. A further six test pits contained pottery and worked flint. These artefacts ranged in date from prehistoric to medieval. Revealed were remains of a post-medieval barn, a medieval pottery scatter, an undated pit and post hole, boundary ditches and a modern pit. [Au(abr)]
