Abstract:		 An evaluation consisting of eight trenches was undertaken, revealing evidence for activity from the later prehistoric periods, probably settlement, on the site. Roman pottery sherds dated to the 1st century BC to 2nd century AD were retrieved and finds of medieval and post-medieval date were also recovered from a ploughsoil. [Au]
