The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeological investigations comprising geophysical survey and excavation were undertaken to identify the nature of archaeological remains identified during a previous desk-top assessment. The site proved to contain evidence of a system of Roman ditches, medieval cultivation and post-medieval land improvement. There was no evidence to suggest the presence of an Iron Age cemetery, Roman road, or enclosures as recorded in the Sites & Monuments Record. [Au(adp)]
