Abstract: |
An archaeological desk based assessment over the proposed route of a water pipeline was undertaken and revealed over one hundred features / monuments of archaeological interest (enclosed within a study corridor some 200m wide by 35km long). Sites dating to the prehistoric, Roman, medieval post-medieval and modern periods were plotted and transcriptions made from APs (a catalogue was also created). Descriptions of the archaeology from these main periods and in the wider study area were also given. [Au] |
