Abstract:		 The geophysical data provided evidence for the presence beneath the study area of a number of substantial soil-filled ditches, the most impressive examples being found in the southern half of Area A. Elements of this pattern appeared to represent a continuation north-east of the Argham Dyke system which were seen as crop marks further west in Reighton Field. Further characterisation of ditches and other features located by the geophysical survey would require a programme of selective trial trenching. [Au(adp)]
