Abstract:		 A number of probable archaeological features were defined and recorded in this watching brief. These consisted of post and stake holes. No finds were recovered from the watching brief and therefore the features could not be dated. It seems likely that these features area part of a larger archaeological complex in the immediate area but it is difficult to speculate about the nature of this activity from the results of the watching brief. However, a linear crop mark was visible at the time of the watching brief was undertaken, aligned North-South across the field. [Au(abr)]
