Abstract: |
A program of building recording was undertaken on part of the late C18th/early C19th steading at Legerwood. A watching brief was also undertaken on excavations for services. Both elements were triggered by a planning condition on the conversion of part of the steading to form a house. The Occupation on or near the site is known from at least the C16th, however no evidence of occupation predating the steading was found during the building recording or the watching brief, |
