Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in February 2014 on Land at Tetbury Hill, Malmesbury, Wiltshire. A total of 18 trenches was excavated. Ditches and a deposit possibly relating to 2nd to 3rd-century AD settlement activity were located in the southern part of the site. An undated pit and an undated ditch, thought to relate to agricultural practices were identified in the northern part of the site. The evidence for medieval activity was restricted to the remains of ridge and furrow ploughing. |
