Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on behalf of Berrow Cottage Homes by John Moore Heritage Services as a condition of planning permission prior to the construction of a two-storey community complex. The site was considered to lie within an archaeologically sensitive area of the medieval settlement of Knowle. No significant archaeological remains were found. A modern pit and a ditch containing late 19th or early 20th century artefacts were found. |
